Our Electric Vehicle charging course is for candidates that want to enhance their career and be able to offer the installation and certification of vehicle charging points in domestic, on-street, and commercial environments to their customers.
The EV chagrining course aims to provide you with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of electrical vehicle charging equipment installation. The training is aimed at practicing electricians interested in installing the range of available equipment and systems; it covers the specialised installation requirements of electric vehicle charging equipment in public, private, and commercial locations and includes exclusive guidance on electrical requirements.
We work with some brand leaders such as Myenergi and Rolec and provide an overview of their products to support you in choosing the right equipment for your customers.
The 2919-01 Electric Vehicle Charging Course is open to all candidates although we recommend you should be a practicing electrician and hold a level 3 qualification demonstrating competency within the electrical installation industry and 2391-52 (or equivalent qualification)
The training is delivered over 1.5 days on the 2nd day of your course you will complete the required assessments.
The 2919-31 Electrical Vehicle Charging qualification has a 60-minute 40-question multiple-choice exam and a practical assessment (You can bring your own tester for the practical assessment if it complies with GS38) – Registration for this course expires on the 31st of July 2023.

By completing the 2921-31 Electric Vehicle Charging course, you can apply with your chosen suppliers' approved vehicle charging installer scheme which may provide you with an extended warranty on products giving your customers assurance when fitting their EV charging equipment and ensuring your specific chosen product knowledge is kept up to date.
